I think you&#039;re referring to the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.roadsideheritage.org/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Roadside Heritage CD&lt;/a&gt;. Yup, it&#039;s hokey, but a (way) better alternative to Britney when you&#039;re zipping down Hwy 395. 

Manzanar is disturbing, but I agree---well worth the stopover if you&#039;re heading south.

<p>Manzanar is disturbing, but I agree&#8212;well worth the stopover if you&#8217;re heading south. </p>

		<description>Some of the State Parks give away a free CD of an oral history of the area.  A bit hokey and aimed at kids, but surprisingly amusing and informative.

Additionally if you head a bit farther south make sure not to miss Manzanar, and the the various Manzanar bunkers which were sold off after the camp was closed, and have been &quot;recycled&quot; into the building of nearby Lone Pine.</description>
